My name is Julian Perkins and I am a senior at the Bullis School in Potomac Maryland. I have been a member of MENSA for over a decade. When I noticed that there was not a SIG dedicated to creating a strong black community within MENSA, I knew I had to step in and lay a foundation so that those in the future are able to benefit from our efforts.

Our mission is for any member to discover a welcoming and inclusive space within MENSA with our new SIG celebrating the rich diversity of existing and prospective members. Join us to build connections, engage in insightful discussions and support interdisciplinary pursuits, and promote understanding among Black and African American MENSA members and anyone interested in supporting Black affinity within MENSA.
